Hear me

May 2019

One moment follows the other and the loss is always a step away. Life holds inside death and vice versa.

This is a dance and music performance inspired by visually impaired people. Visually impaired and seeing audience wearing a blindfold and placing themselves inside a net of elastic bands will have the opportunity to hear and feel the performance, instead of seeing it. The set up will allow a small amount of people to experience the performance blindfolded. The rest will have the opportunity to observe this moving network.

Discussions with visually impaired people, the experience of the performer being blindfolded and the story "A Small, Good Thing" from the book "Short cuts" by Raymond Carver are the elements of the making this performance.
