One deaf musician and one blind dancer explore each one from his position how it is to lose a very basic sense, sight or hearing. How long can we stand this complex and limiting new situation? Can we transform this struggle into a comfortable position? How can we communicate with each other? How far can we go in this communication by finding a new way of being, feeling, listening and sensing the energy of each other in space?
We are inspired to create this performance by our need to experience and understand this state and, through us and our creative process, to spread this understanding. For that reason, we invite the audience to experience this limited situation by becoming blind or deaf for one hour, while watching or hearing our performance. Strings attached to the space so that people can walk with, balloons attached to the strings so that people can feel the vibrations.
In this performance we share a new way of being together.
